IU’s basketball programs will host a scrimmage-based Hoosier Hysteria event on Friday, Oct. 18 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall as part of Homecoming Weekend.

Hoosier Hysteria Scrimmage will begin with introductions from players on the women’s team, followed by a message from head coach Teri Moren and two quarters of an intrasquad scrimmage.

Immediately following the women’s scrimmage, the men’s team will introduce its players, share a message from head coach Mike Woodson, and play their own half of an intrasquad scrimmage.

In a press release, both head coaches said the scrimmages will serve as a way for fans to get a sneak peak of the 2024-25 teams on the court.

The scrimmages will follow a meet-and-greet opportunity at Cook Hall. Fans will be able to purchase special access into the event for an opportunity to meet the team, take photos, and get signatures from their favorite Hoosiers.

All this leads up to Saturday, Oct. 19, when the Indiana football team will host Nebraska at Memorial Stadium.
