How to register to vote before the Oct. 7 deadline

Voters have until October 7 to register for November’s general election. People can register online, by mail or in-person.

Indiana’s online voter portal offers registration and other voting information. Users can also check registration status.

Mail-in registration forms must be sent by Oct. 7 to the Voter Registration Office at 401 W. 7th St. in Bloomington. The office and the Bureau of Motor Vehicles branch on South Curry Pike have forms. The locations also offer in-person registration.

Early voting starts Oct. 8, the day after registration ends.
