Indiana University's women's basketball team lost to top seed Southern California, 84-79, Friday in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament in Indianapolis.
The Hoosiers will take a 19-12 record into selections for the NCAA tournament. On Friday morning, ESPN projected IU as a No. 10 seed. The selection show is at 8 p.m. March 16.
IU trailed 71-68 with 3:30 remaining, but didn't come closer to USC for the rest of game. The Trojans, ranked second nationally, improved their record to 27-2.
USC's Juju Watkins had 31 points and 10 rebounds.
IU's Yarden Garzon had 23 points and eight rebounds.
