There will be a statewide tornado test Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. It’s part of Indiana’s Severe Weather Preparedness Week, which runs from March 9-15.
The Emergency Management Office encourages residents, businesses, and schools to take the drill as an opportunity to practice their tornado action plan.
The National Weather Service says the goal of Severe Weather Preparedness Week is to educate people about thunderstorm and tornado hazards and help everyone be prepared for severe weather.
