A man with an arrest warrant for alleged prostitution and child pornography in Ellettsville was taken into custody in Virginia.
Former spa owner Zhongqiang Teng, 51, was arrested in March in Winchester, Va. A license plate reader showed Teng had active warrants in Indiana.
In October of 2023, Ellettsville Police received a tip about potentially illegal sexual services being offered at the Sun Flower 99 Spa on West Richland Plaza Drive.
The spa closed months later.

Teng was charged with two counts of felony prostitution, five counts of misdemeanor prostitution, one count of possession of child pornography, one count of corrupt business influence, one count of failure to collect or remit the proper amount of sales tax and one count of failure to provide requested tax documents.
He also faces one count of unlawful possession of an Eastern Box Turtle, an endangered species. Ellettsville Police said the turtle was returned to nature by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Teng is awaiting extradition back to Monroe County.
Xueren Chen, 43, was also charged in the spa case. She faces two counts of promoting prostitution, one count of corrupt business influence, and four counts of misdemeanor prostitution. Detective Lieutenant Zachary Michael said Chen still has an active warrant for her arrest and police are trying to locate her.
