Bloomington man found dead in van ruled an overdose

Andrew Reed, 37, has been identified as the man who was found dead in a van in March. The coroner’s office used DNA testing to make the identification and then ruled his death as accidental due to a drug overdose.

Reed, of Bloomington, was reported missing Jan. 24 from his home in the 2900 block of South Pinewood Lane. Law enforcement initially searched the area but could not find him.

His body was discovered March 20 in a neighbor’s van on the same block as his residence.
