Indiana Legal Services, a nonprofit law firm in Bloomington, will relocate from its current site due to the Bloomington Convention Center Project.
The Bloomington Redevelopment Commission last week unanimously approved a lease termination for the firm’s office at 214 S. College Ave. The firm has been located there for nearly 20 years and has six months to find a new location.
The Indiana Lawyer reported branch managing attorney Carl Greci said they plan to remain in Bloomington but are unsure if they will remain downtown.
The organization has eight offices throughout Indiana, with the Bloomington office providing service to 14 counties.
Bloomington officials broke ground on the $52 million convention center expansion on June 3. It is expected to be complete in early 2027.
