The American Pirates offer a genre-defying take on the American Songbook, blending reimagined pre–World War II jazz standards with original music. For a special run of shows (2/18–2/21), they’re joined by award-winning New York City–based pianist Albert Newberry, whose jazz-inflected style spans classical, gospel, and stride.
