Description: Science Story Time is geared toward listeners toddler through early elementary ages. This program uses children’s picture books to engage as well as support scientific concepts and experiments. Young scientists develop literacy and STEM skills as well as build vocabulary by actively participating in the hands-on program. Activities designed for ages 2-6. All are welcome. Activities vary monthly.

Curiosity Lab is an after-school, free play program for kids ages 6-10 years. Children are invited to explore, experiment, and engage in hands-on sensory activities at their own pace. No instructions, no pressure—just curiosity-driven play. Held in WonderLab (or sometimes outdoors weather permitting), the space is set up for exploration with a variety of rotating materials and stations.
There will be one main activity/installment/manipulative for the month that will be brought out every Thursday. This will rotate with the month and the month's theme.

Get closer to the wild side with Animal Hour and Dive Deeper! These weekly programs let you chat with WonderLab’s animal experts, discover what it takes to care for creatures from around the globe, and meet snakes, lizards, insects, arachnids, and more—up close and out of their habitats.
Animal Hour takes place on most Fridays, while Dive Deeper happens on the last Friday of each month at WonderLab’s stunning coral reef aquarium.
Constellation Stage and Screen & BCT Present:Mamma Mia! (2008)
Calling all dancing queens and super troupers!Experience the magic of ABBA’s greatest hits on the big screen in this feel-good movie musical about a bride-to-be searching for her real father. Based on the Broadway musical of the same name, Mamma Mia! is a high-energy celebration of love, friendship, and timeless pop classics.
Pre-Show Extravaganza:Be sure to dress in your Mamma Mia best, because we’re kicking off the screening with a costume contest!Show off your disco- and island-inspired looks for the chance to win a fabulous prize. Come early to take photos at our photo booth and grab a themed cocktail from the bar.

Illegal dumping of tires in Monroe County needs to STOP. The Waste Reduction District is having a Tire Amnesty Day, Saturday, May 16th at the Fairgrounds. Bring accepted tires to drop off for FREE. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library brings the joy of reading to kids across our region by providing free, high-quality books to young learners from birth to age five. Currently, 700 children in Greene County receive monthly books, sparking creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of reading.
To support the program and reach even more young readers in Greene County, join United Way of South Central Indiana for the Once Upon a Time Fundraiser on Saturday, May 16th, from 3-7 p.m. at Fowler Pumpkin Patch (5060 N. Greene County Line Road).
This free, family-friendly event will be packed with fun, community spirit, and opportunities to support this incredible cause.
