Community Calendar

The Golf Outing was started by Miles Kanne and Gene Flander to introduce more individuals and organizations in Bloomington to Harmony School while supporting golf in the community. All proceeds from the event support the Miles Kanne Scholarship Fund for Harmony students. The 2024 Golf Outing raised over $55,000 for the Miles Kanne Scholarship Fund, bringing the total funds raised to nearly $850,000 in the last 43 years!

We do more than sing, we build community. Quarryland is consistently the top fundraising team for the Beyond the Diagnosis HIV/AIDS walk hosted by CAAG benefitting Positive Link HIV Services. We've also raised money for the Out of the Darkness Walk(s), benefitting suicide prevention efforts, and we sing at local Pride events like Spencer Pride and Bloomington Pridefest. You might've also heard us at The AIDS Quilt display in 2022 or the Bloomington Farmer's Market this summer.

QMC sings an eclectic mix of music from across all genres, while creating a space for anyone who sings a lower voice part, no matter your gender or orientation.

If you’re an ally of the queer community, come join our mission to spread love and acceptance with voices lifted for equality and belonging.

We’re at home in Bloomington, Indiana but welcome singers from all across the region.

Auditions consist of an interview and vocal exercises with the artistic director. Rehearsals are 7-9:30 pm every Monday with a 20-minute break.

The 12th Annual Disney-Inspired Drag & Cabaret event is back and at a new larger location! This was the first show that I created and performed way back when I was first starting out and it brings me great pleasure to offer it at the Constellation Playhouse!

Come dressed as your favorite Disney character for your chance to win some prizes in the Costume Contest!!

Join NAMI Greater Bloomington Area for a free, family-friendly walk to raise awareness for mental health and show support for individuals and families affected by mental illness. The event includes a scenic 1.78-mile walk through Switchyard Park, music, community resource tables, and opportunities to connect with others who care about mental health. Fred Armisen is a comedian, writer, producer, and musician.

He is the co-writer and co-star of IFC’s Emmy-nominated series Portlandia. He is in the hit Netflix series Wednesday as Uncle Fester. He stars in HBO’s Los Espookys, which he co-wrote and executive produced. He can also be heard in the hit animated Super Mario Bros movie. Armisen stars in, writes, and produces IFC’s hit show Documentary Now. He has also appeared in HBO’s Our Flag Means Death, Judd Apatow’s The Bubble, and Amazon’s series Forever. He voices characters in Big Mouth and The Mitchells vs. The Machines. He is currently starring in the Broadway play All In. Armisen is an 11-season veteran of Saturday Night Live. From 2014-2024, Armisen was band leader of the 8G Band on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

A Spooky Disney Night to get the family ready for Halloween!!!

In this frighteningly fun adventure, a doctor and her nine-year-old son, looking to start a new life, move into a strangely affordable mansion in New Orleans, only to discover that the place is much more than they bargained for. Desperate for help, they enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters, including a priest, a widowed scientist-turned failed-paranormal expert, a French Quarter psychic, and a crotchety professor.
