Natalie Escobar

Natalie Escobar is an editor on NPR's Newshub team, where she edits breaking news. Previously, she was an associate editor on the Culture desk, where she helped produce "Books We Love." And before then, she was an assistant editor on the Code Switch team, where she edited the blog and newsletter, ran the social media accounts and led audience engagement. Before coming to NPR in 2020, Escobar was an assistant editor and editorial fellow at The Atlantic. She graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism with a degree in magazine journalism and Latino studies. [Copyright 2025 NPR]
