Keep It Simple For St. Patrick's Day

Guinness is actually one of the lowest calorie beers on the planet. It has less calories than Budweiser, skim milk or orange juice if you can believe it.

Drinking on St. Patrick's Day certainly isn't about watching your waistline, but that's interesting to know nonetheless. Brad Dunn talks about three beer cocktails that use Guinness as a base to get you ready for your St. Patty's Day festivities.

We hear part two of Harvest Public Media's Science of the Seed series.

In the kitchen, Chef Daniel Orr uses collard greens and lettuce barquettes in two dishes.

And, we chat with farmer Deb McKee Kelly at the Bloomington Winter Farmers Market. How does she grow so many beautiful heads of lettuce when there's snow on the ground? Hydroponics in a heated greenhouse of course!
