Michelle Pruitt says farm animals are out of sight, out of mind, and that's partly why she helped found Uplands Peak Sanctuary.
She and her husband rescue animals that would be killed for food and let them live out their lives on their property in southern Indiana. They opened their barn doors in the fall of 2012, and now they're housing four of the most charismatic pigs you'd ever have the pleasure of meeting.
