Indiana Elects Glenda Ritz State Superintendent

Democrat Glenda Ritz pulled off an unexpected victory over Republican Tony Bennett in the race for state superintendent this week. Ritz’s supporters say her win shows Hoosiers were unhappy with education reform, but some question whether Ritz will be able to implement new policies with a Republican-controlled legislature.

This week on Noon Edition, we’ll talk with education experts about what Ritz’s win might mean for Indiana schools.

Join us Friday at 12 p.m for our conversation. You can visit this site to be part of our live chat, follow us on Twitter  @NoonEdition, or join us on the air by calling in at  812-855-0811 or 1-877-285-WFIU.
