The business landscape has seen many changes in 2022

Noon Edition airs on Fridays at noon on WFIU.

As we enter the last month of 2022, we will take a look at the current business and economic landscape.

It’s been an eventful year for the world of business. The COVID-19 pandemic, war in Ukraine, inflation, and more have had large impacts on the US and world economies, the stock market, gas prices, and international trade.

Other important events that happened included Elon Musk’s $44 billion deal for Twitter, employee shortages at major airlines causing a decrease in travel, and the collapse of FTX and continuing downfall crypto currency.

The world of sports has also been heavily impacted by NIL deals with college athletes and major universities switching conferences opening endless possibilities for millions of dollars’ worth of media deals and marketing.

We will talk with experts about current business landscape and more this Friday on Noon Edition.

You can follow us on Twitter at @NoonEdition or join us on the air by calling 812-855-0811 or toll-free at 1-877-285-9348. You can also send questions for the show at news@indianapublicmedia.org.
