Republican candidate Dave Hall’s lead over Democrat Penny Githens in the District 62 race increased to 40 votes after provisional ballots were counted in Monroe, Jackson, and Brown Counties.

Hall is leading Githens by just 37 votes for District 62, with 99 percent of ballots counted according to information from AP and the Indiana Election Division.

Diego Morales briefly held secretary of state office jobs in 2009 and 2011 until getting poor performance write-ups that the AP first reported about during his unsuccessful 2018 bid for an Indiana congressional seat.

Indiana's U.S. Senate debate featured Democrat Tom McDermott, Republican incumbent U.S. Sen. Todd Young (R-Ind.) and Libertarian James Sceniak.

According to Federal Election Commission filings, Roger Day has raised zero dollars for his campaign. Republican Jim Baird is listed as having raised just under $300,000.

Several of the positions include U.S. Senator and county sheriff, as well as spots on county council and school boards.

Rep. Jeff Ellington (R-Bloomington) announced he will be moving west to Bloomfield and intends to run to represent the 45th District, which Rep. Bruce Borders (R-Jasonville) has represented for over a decade.
