One of Columbus’ most iconic buildings is serving a new community purpose. Last month, the Bartholomew County Public Library Board voted to accept the donation of the former 14-acre North Christian Church campus.

The library owns thousands of miniature books, measuring three inches or less.

In the Feb. 21 board of trustees meeting, MCPL director Grier Carson said the library is waiting to see what insurance covers before beginning repairs.
