Shruti Rana announced over the weekend that her husband received a job offer from the University of Missouri’s law school, where she is now an assistant vice chancellor.

Shruti Rana has won the nomination for the District 5 seat on Bloomington City Council.

Rana currently serves as the Democratic representative on the Monroe County Election Board and is a member of the Board of Public Safety.
