Traffic on State Road 45/46 over I-69 in Bloomington will shift to newly-constructed east and westbound lanes on Wednesday.
Indiana transportation officials say that traffic going both ways will be restricted to the right lane on each side of the median. The left lane in each direction will be closed.
The on-ramp from State Road 46 eastbound to I-69 southbound will also undergo construction during this time, closing for up to 10 days for concrete patching and shoulder expansion. The start date for this part of the project has not yet been announced.
The shift is part of a $5 million pavement replacement project that began in June and is expected to be completed by Nov. 15.
