The Indiana University men's basketball team will play an exhibition game Tuesday at Assembly Hall before beginning regular season play Nov. 5.
IU will try to improve on last year’s 19-16 overall record and 9-12 Big Ten record. The Hoosiers have not made it to the NCAA tournament since the 2015-2016 season.
IU is returning three starters and four lettermen from last year’s squad.
"If healthy we, could be very, very deep; have up to 11 players that as a coaching staff we would feel good putting in the game without reservation right now,” head coach Archie Miller says.
Tuesday's exhibition game against Gannon University tips off at 7 p.m.
The regular season begins Nov. 5 against Western Illinois University at Assembly Hall.
