Flood Warnings Continue As Crests Hit Six Feet Above Flood Stage

Several flood warnings remain in effect after more than nine inches of rain fell over parts of the state this weekend.

Reports from the National Weather Forecast Service predict flood crests of six to eight feet above flood stage along much of the White and Wabash Rivers.

Total rainfall amounts varied from a little more than four inches in Bloomington to more than nine inches near Jasper in Dubois Co.

Flood levels will continue to rise as another inch or two inch of rain is expected this week.
