The owner of the Eagle Pointe Golf Resort is in custody at the Monroe County Jail.
According to court records there was a warrant issued August 31 in a domestic case between ex-wife Gretchen Thomas and Douglas Thomas.
Thomas was wanted in Boone County. Monroe County police arrested Thomas and, according to a sergeant at the Monroe County Jail, someone is coming to transport him to Boone County's jail.
Monroe County officials declined to release the arrest record.
The Eagle Pointe Golf Resort which Thomas owns, was shut down Wednesday for failure to pay sales and employee payroll taxes.
Sheriff's deputies posted signs on the doors Wednesday morning, notifying customers the business is in violation of tax codes according to the Indiana Department of Revenue.
It's the second time the resort has been shut down for tax problems since Thomas purchased the golf course and restaurant in December.
