TIME Magazine has namedPurdue University the best college in the state of Indiana.
Each year TIME MONEY analyzes enrollment data as well as student outcomes in order to rank the top schools in the country based off of tuition value.
According to UCLA's Higher Education Research Institute, more than half of freshmen attend a four year school within a 100 mile distance of their home. That's why TIME created the list of the best schools in each specific state.

All but six of the schools ranked in the top half of MONEY's "2017 Best Colleges For Your Money" list.
Purdue is ranked number one in Indiana. The school is listed as number 37 best university in the country.
