A zoning board has halted a proposed large-scale hog operation in Delaware County.
Rhett Light wants to house and fatten as many as 10,560 piglets for a pork processor.

County Commissioners approved a building permit, but a group of residents appealed the decision to the Metropolitan Board of Zoning Appeals, which decided to rescind the approval on Friday.
Light's attorney Todd Janzen suggested to the Star Press that he might go to court next. He says he doesn't believe the zoning appeals board can erase a building permit.
