The National Weather Service is predicting more accumulating snow this afternoon across southern and central Indiana.

Mixed precipitation is expected to change to snow around noon and continue through tonight.

Much of Central Indiana is under a Winter Storm Warning from 2 p.m today through 7 a.m. tomorrow. Counties further south of I-70 including Monroe, Brown and Bartholomew are under a Winter Storm Watch.

Forecasters are predicting three to six inches of snow in the "Warning" area and one to three inches of snow accumulation by Tuesday morning in the "Watch" area.

The National Weather Service says Sunday's official snowfall total in Indianapolis was a record 4.3 inches.

You can follow WFIU/WTIU for winter delays and closings.
