Paoli Peaks Ski Resort will reopen Wednesday after an extended closure due to unseasonably warm weather.
A resort representative said that they hoped to open for the season in mid-December, but they were only able to operate for a couple of days before closing.
The resort announced Jan. 18 via Facebook that it had resumed its snowmaking process thanks to colder temperatures and was working on establishing a base for skiing, snowboarding and tubing. It says its snowmaking team will continue making snow as long as conditions permit.
Ski slopes open Wednesday at noon and snow tubing opens Friday.
