Trailhead Pizza Reopens 6 Months After Car Plows Into Building

Trailhead Pizza on Indiana State Road 446 south of Bloomington reopened Thursday after a six-month closure. The restaurant was forced to close after a car plowed into the building.

General manager Jessica Fitch predicted they would have the renovations complete the second or third weekend of January and ready to open their doors.

Fitch says that this is the third time since opening Trailhead Pizza that someone has run off the road onto their property in some capacity, the second resulted in a fatality.

No one was injured during the last incident, but it did result in around a $100,000 in damages.

They will be open this week, Thursday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
