From the Associated Press: Officials in Terre Haute say a city pool is set to open in the coming days after a repair project that was undertaken to avoid leaving the community without any public swimming options. Contractors have finished installing a new filtration system, concrete and roof at the Deming Park Pool.
From the Associated Press: Indiana Gov. Mike Pence faces a tight deadline to withdraw from the state's gubernatorial race if he is selected to be Donald Trump's vice presidential pick. State law dictates that Pence cannot appear on the ballot as a vice presidential nominee and a candidate for governor. The first-term Republican governor faces a July 15 deadline to withdraw his name. Pence is one of a handful of people Trump is considering.
