Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Mike Pence is scheduled to speak in Carmel during opening events for Donald Trump's Indiana campaign office.
Trump's state campaign says the Indiana governor and his wife, Karen, are expected to attend the Friday event. The campaign says Pence will speak around 5 p.m.
This will be Pence's first public Trump campaign event in the Hoosier state since his pick as Trump's running mate was ratified by the Republican National Convention in July.
The Trump campaign says yard signs and bumper stickers will be available for supporters at the office, where volunteers can sign up to make phone calls and door-to-door campaign stops.
