Drivers in Bloomington now have a new tool for checking road status.
The City of Bloomington Information and Technology Services Department has launched its inRoads application, which displays a map showing a list of closed roads, lane restrictions and other traffic-related information.
In a statement, ITS Director Rick Dietz said the site gives Bloomington residents better access to that information.
"One of our main goals for the inRoads application is to make these road and sidewalk closings and related information more available and accessible to the public," he said.
