Are Indiana's lawmakers really done with the 2015 session? Maybe not.
The state's 150 legislators could meet this summer for a one-day technical session, which has been scheduled for June 8.
That one-day gathering is typically used to make any necessary corrections to new state laws, or, in some cases, to override the governor's veto.
The technical session, however, doesn't come without a price tag — the Associated Press reports its cost at $30,000 — but legislators eliminated one regular day of the session to accommodate for the potential need for an extra day, Indiana Legislative Services Executive Director George Angelone says.
It isn't clear whether House and Senate leaders will decide to have a technical session this year or what issues lawmakers might need to address.
The General Assembly held technical sessions in 2013and 2014.
