A handful of counties are under a travel advisory this morning, after a storm swept through the state last night, dumping several inches of snow, largely in the northern half of the state.
The Indiana Department of Transportation's county-by-county map indicates no counties are under a travel watch or warning, which are considered more severe than a travel advisory.
Under a travel advisory, "routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas," according to INDOT.
INDOT sent out nearly 580 snow plow crews this morning to clear the roads.
Some schools, including Brown County School Corporation and Kokomo School Corporation are operating on two-hour delays.
