The driver of a Megabus involved in a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 last week was speeding, Indiana State Police say.
That bus was driving on I-65 in Johnson County last Monday when traffic slowed because of construction near Edinburgh.
The bus failed to stop in time and caused a chain-reaction crash, sending 19 Megabus riders to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police issued Megabus driver Kimberly Lane a ticket for speeding.
Police say they found no mechanical issues that contributed to the crash, but the Megabus was operating under the incorrect U.S. Department of Transportation number.
