1. Indiana's epidemiologist says the HIV outbreak in southeastern Indiana has peaked.
There are currently 175 diagnosed cases in the outbreak, which has been centered in Scott County. The outbreak has been attributed to intravenous drug use — particularly use of the prescription opioid painkiller Opana. The Associated Press reports the outbreak is the largest in the state's history.
2. Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald will tour Roudebush Medical Center on Thursday.
McDonald will speak to members of the press this afternoon after his visit to the Richard Roudebush VA Medical Center.
3. Property values along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail have increase nearly 150 percent.
That's according to a report from the Indiana University Public Policy Institute, which shows property values within one block of the eight-mile trail have risen 148 percent since 2008. The report also found that 95 percent of people feel safe on the trail, and the average expected expenditure of those on the trail is $53.
