Six shuttle buses in Bloomington were destroyed Tuesday night after an electrical short inside one bus caused a fire.
The buses belong to Go Express Travel, which owns and operates over 65 vehicles. In a press release the company says the first bus caught fire at around 11:40 p.m.
The fire spread to five other vehicles before the Bloomington Township Fire Dep. was able to put it out.
In a statement from Go Express Travel, no passengers or staff were present.
Go Express Travel provides shuttle service from Bloomington to the Indianapolis International Airport. Travel Operations Manager Jill Ison says none of company's services will be interrupted due to the fire.
