The trial for the Bloomington man accused of killing Indiana University student Hannah Wilson has been pushed back.
The trial of 49-year-old Daniel Messel, who has been charged with one count of murder, was scheduled to start July 22.
It will now begin more than nine months from now on Feb. 24, 2016.
The prosecution said in a pretrial conference Monday they expect the trial to last three weeks.
The trial could still be moved out of south-central Indiana. The judge in the case has previously said she'll decide on a potential change of venue once jury selection begins.
