Construction crews say the new Indiana University baseball stadium is on schedule to be open for the team's first home game next month.
Head coach Tracy Smith offered a tour of the facility Tuesday afternoon, showing off a green artificial turf field seemingly ready to be used, but construction continues in much of the rest of the stadium.
Amenities Bart Kaufman Stadium will feature include locker rooms for both teams and lights that will allow night games.
The stadium will include a picnic area, more parking spaces and a backstop constructed from Indiana limestone.
