Ivy Tech Vice President Jeff Terp says the school was surprised to learn it would be hosting a regional summit.
"This is an exciting time for community colleges nationwide, it's an exciting time for Ivy Tech," said Terp. "It shows that Ivy Tech is a leader in the country."
Terp said the summit offers Ivy Tech an opportunity to educate Hoosiers.
"Continue to impress upon people in the state of Indiana that Ivy Tech is a solution for our workforce, our workforce for the future and how it prepares people," said Terp.
The summit will take place at the Indianapolis campus on March 23 rd and will focus on connecting community colleges with employers.
