Some motorists may have experienced sticker shock at the pumps today. Regular gas is more than three-thirty a gallon in some spots across Indiana. Analysts say the unrest in the Middle East is fueling the spikes.
Patrick Dehaan with gasbuddy.com says Bahrain and Libya both are major oil exporters to North America. Some oil companies are pulling their personnel out of the region because of the escalating violence.
Dehaan also says don‘t expect relief anytime soon and prices could reach above the four-dollar-a-gallon mark by Memorial Day.
