Four new COVID-19 cases have been identified among City workers, according to a press release.
A City employee, two Bloomington Transit employees and one utilities employee all received positive results last week. That brings total cases to 62 among City workers.
The utilities employee, who is asymptomatic, last worked in-person on Jan. 16. The other employees had not worked onsite in more than two weeks.

According to the City, no close contacts occurred among co-workers or the general public.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention defines a close contact as someone within six feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes starting two days before symptoms appear.
The Indiana Department of Health reported Thursday 78 new cases and one new death in Monroe County, increasing the county totals to 9,299 cases and 110 deaths.
