The Indiana Department of Health reported 1,480 new positive cases and 36 new deaths, increasing state totals to 631,331 cases and 9,713 deaths.
Hospitalizations are on the decline once more, after a brief increase Jan. 31-Feb. 1. As of Wednesday, 1,582 Hoosiers are hospitalized with the virus. Indiana has administered more than 7 million tests on more than 2.9 million Hoosiers with a seven-day positivity rate of 7.7% -- down from 8.3% on Feb. 1.

In Monroe County, the IDOH reported 16 new cases of COVID-19, increasing the county total to 9,759, and the county death toll remained the same at 117.
Sixty-seven residents in the area are hospitalized due to COVID-19.
The county has administered more than 276,000 tests with a 2.5% seven-day positivity rate.
Monroe County has fully vaccinated 3,183 residents.
