The Indiana football team will open its 2021 season at Iowa in a revised schedule released by the Big Ten Friday.
The league modified the schedule to make up for the six conference games last year that were adjusted due to COVID-19, which upended much of the 2020 season.
The Hoosiers kick off the season on Sept. 4 in Iowa City. That will be followed by three non-conference games – Idaho and Cincinnati at home, then a road trip to Western Kentucky – before playing at Penn State on Oct. 2
Indiana has a bye the week of Oct. 9, then back-to-back home games against Michigan and Ohio State. Road trips to Maryland and Michigan follow, then it’s back home for Rutgers and Minnesota before wrapping up the regular season on Nov. 27 at Purdue.
The Big Ten championship game is scheduled for Dec. 4 in Indianapolis. Times and television assignments will be determined at a later date.
Fans who had season tickets for the 2020 season will be able to renew their seats through their My Tickets account soon. Deposits for new season tickets are on sale now for $50 per ticket, with the deposit being applied to the final season-ticket price.
