In early March, when it became obvious that the coronavirus pandemic was about to change Hoosiers’ lives in more ways than simply canceling spring break plans, we decided to begin sending a daily evening newsletter rounding up the day’s COVID-19 coverage.
As the virus came to Indiana and case numbers began to rise, the newsletter proved ever more important. The state of the virus was changing by the day, and people were hungry for information. We received lots of audience feedback – mostly positive, some negative – that gave us insight into how Hoosiers were feeling throughout the first few months of the pandemic and into the summer.
