Up to 5 more inches of snow is expected across southern Indiana tonight. A winter weather advisory is in effect until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday morning for most of the southern parts of the state.
Indiana Department of Transportation Southeast District officials are calling for a full call-out of plow trucks ahead of accumulating snow and ice expected.
More snow, with the possibility of mixed freezing rain is in the forecast for Wednesday. Colder temperatures are also in the forecast, with daytime highs reaching only into the 20s this week.
Motorists should plan for slippery road conditions during the morning or evening commute.
