Jeff Hauswald is the next superintendent of the Monroe County Community School Corporation. What questions do you have for him?
Hauswald, who serves as the Kokomo School Corporation superintendent, will take over for MCCSC Superintendent Judith DeMuth on July 1. His contract was approved for three years, and is initial base salary will be $209,500 with increases based on evaluations.
He was chosen at a February board meeting, where board members Jacinda Townsend Gides voted against Hauswald’s hiring and April Hennessy abstained.
Hauswald will be tasked with leading MCCSC through pandemic recovery. He said previously that two of his main goals are closing the achievement gap and dealing with the financial hardships placed on the district.
