The Monroe County Community School Corporation will swear in its newest board member at a meeting later this month.
Erin Cooperman has been picked to fill the District 5 seat that was left open after the January death of Keith Klein.
At its meeting in February the board could not agree on a replacement for Klein so the decision was left up to the Monroe Circuit Court.
