Two more city workers have tested positive for COVID-19, according to a Thursday Bloomington press release.
This week’s additional cases bring the city’s total to 77 positive tests since the start of the pandemic.
None of the workers were a close contact of a previous city COVID case or of the general public.
One is a Bloomington Fire Department employee, the other works at the Twin Lakes Sports Park.
The city says any co-workers who may have been exposed to COVID from the employees have been notified. Cleaning protocols also have been completed.
More city, county, and state COVID-19 data may be found on the city’s online dashboard.
A city release corrected the workplace to be the Twin Lakes Sports Park.
