Parts of central Indiana can expect snow late Tuesday, with temperatures staying in the low 30s through Thursday evening.
National Weather Service meteorologist Chad Swain said snow will start in parts of north central Indiana and move southeast across the state into Wednesday morning.
"Our northern counties up near Lafayette and Kokomo and Muncie could be one to two inches of snow," Swain said. "Along I-70 maybe a half-inch to an inch and less than that south of I-70."
Swain said sub-freezing temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday nights could harm sensitive spring plants.
"If you have any sensitive vegetation, it could be impacted," Swain said. "And we do have a freeze watch in effect for Tuesday night."
Temperatures will remain near freezing Thursday night and rise to the mid-40s by Friday evening.
