Bloomington city officials are reporting the 79th positive COVID-19 case from a city employee. A city utilities worker received the positive result this week.
According to a city news release, the employee was asymptomatic and last worked Monday. The employee does not work closely with others or the general public.
This is the fourth case reported in April.
The city says cleaning protocols are complete of shared workspaces and vehicles.
