MCCSC To Offer Limited In-Person High School Graduation, No Prom

Both Bloomington High School North and South are planning in-person graduations for June.

Graduates will be allowed two guests each for the outdoor ceremonies in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Social distancing and masks will be required. Both schools’ ceremonies will also be livestreamed.

North’s ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. June 5 at the BHSN football field, and South’s will be at 1 p.m. June 5 at the BHSS football field, according to the schools’ websites.

The Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship’s graduation ceremony will be 6 p.m. June 7 at Switchyard Park. The City of Bloomington approved the event.
